ANDY KAPLAN
Andy has been in real estate for over 25 years. He started as a real estate attorney at Blank Rome where he counseled/advised some of the largest companies/lenders in the region.
From there, he went to Rite Aid Corporation, where he was an officer and director of the company and served as real estate counsel and then Director of Real Estate. At Rite Aid, he devised and implemented the market strategy for real estate development in the Eastern Pennsylvania, Delaware, South New Jersey and Maryland markets which included 340+ stores. While there, he was involved with the acquisition and/or leasing of over 90 new freestanding stores.
He then went to The Goldenberg Group where he was a partner and key player in the acquisition, development, leasing and management of over 5,000,000 square feet of projects varying from shopping centers to high end condo conversions.
Since then, he has successfully developed and continues to develop dozens of projects in all asset classes.
Andy has an undergraduate degree from Penn State and an MBA/JD (cum laude) from Temple.
ERNIE KNECHEL
Ernie is a 15-year real estate industry veteran having been involved in all aspects of real estate. From owning his own small business to working with large corporate clients Ernie's edge has always been his passion, energy, hard work, and commitment to each project. His career highlights include numerous property management awards, overseeing the $2 million renovation of a 92 unit apartment complex and exceeding $10 million in annual real estate sales.
At Rockland Capital, Ernie is in charge of the property management division, construction projects, real estate sales, and exploring new investment opportunities.
Ernie is a member of the Montgomery County Association of Realtors and graduated Temple University Fox School of Business majoring in both Finance and Real Estate.
Currently residing in Penn Valley, Ernie enjoys spending time with his wife trying out new restaurants, spending time at the beach, or taking motorcycle trips.
JAMIE ARONOW
Jamie is responsible for all aspects of Rockland Capital's accounting and finances.
Prior to Rockland, Jamie worked for eLocal.com and the Federal Reserve Bank of Philadelphia. Jamie also served in active roles for the Parent's Committee of Germantown Academy including serving as President and Treasurer.
Jamie graduated from Syracuse University with a degree in Finance.
Jamie lives in Ambler with her husband and two children. She enjoys tennis, skiing, reading, thunderstorms and long walks with her dog Ernie.
